Peak Gives Back
In celebration of our ten-year anniversary in 2014, Peak Health Solutions has begun an initiative to help others. Our core values drive our business decisions, as well as how we interact with the community.
PEAK GIVES BACK encompasses three areas of service work.
Peak hosts a virtual food drive that helps families all over the United States. Our employees have the opportunity to make monetary donations throughout the year
Feeding America is the leading domestic hunger relief organization, with network food banks serving every state. Feeding America’s nationwide network of 200 food banks provides food and groceries to 33,500 food pantries, 4,500 soup kitchens and 3,600 emergency shelters. This extensive network helps feed 46.5 million Americans each year -- delivering over 3 billion pounds of food. Each week nearly 5.7 million people receive emergency food assistance from an agency served by a Feeding America member.
During the holiday season, Peak participates in the Angel Tree Program through the Salvation Army. Peak "adopts" two, at-risk, local youths, providing them with necessities, as well as a few items from a "wish-list".
Angel Tree gives individuals and partnering corporations an opportunity to adopt less fortunate children and seniors who would otherwise receive very little or nothing during the holiday season and provides them with personalized gifts and necessities. Donors can be confident that their gifts go directly, and without excessive overhead, to those who are truly needy since all Salvation Army Angels and are not served by other holiday assistance programs.
SOUTH NASHVILLE FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER
Peak Health Solutions is partnered with the FRC of South Nashville, donating service hours in the resource center food pantry and general office.
The South Nashville Family Resource Center (FRC) is a collaboration of United Way of Metropolitan Nashville, Saint Thomas Health, and Catholic Charities of Tennessee designed to provide neighborhood residents with a way to help solve challenges, while making the neighborhood stronger and healthier in the process.
