Dr. Goshin is the founder of the HealthyWorld Foundation and currently serves as its President/CEO. The foundation has many health care projects in India and Africa. Until recently, he served for 27 years as the founding President/CEO of an upstate New York based health maintenance organization that included large multi-specialty medical group practices. Dr. Goshin built the program to 500,000 members with $1 billion in annual revenue and 3,000 employees. He is a clinical associate professor at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and professor of Cancer Prevention and Population Sciences at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Programs under his leadership have received numerous awards including the Better Business Bureau's (BBB) Torch Award for Marketplace Ethics, the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) highest accreditation status (Four Star Excellent) and acknowledgment for one of the 10 best health plans in the U.S. (Newsweek). He is also a member of the board of the highly regarded international organization Freedom from Hunger. Dr. Goshin who has served on, and chaired, numerous boards, continues his service as a board member and an advisor to numerous organizations, corporations and foundations.
